The policy platform is intended to serve as the guiding document for Missourians for Responsible Transportation on the policy and advocacy fronts. This document is meant to serve as the external-facing document that outlines our policy priorities. Additionally, there could be an internal spreadsheet which is more detailed in explanation and is updated as developments on each of these priorities occur.
Guiding Principles
In general, the guiding principles of MRT’s policy platforms are as follows:
- Clear, demonstrable alignment with MRT’s mission and/or elements of the strategic plan
- Informed by key external partners
- Shaped and approved by members of the leadership team
